I sat down at my computer today, making my list of items I need to do before Friday for my daughter's birthday party... and it hit me like a ton of bricks that she is already six years old. It seems like 'just a few years ago' (not 6 though) that I brought her home from the hospital. I got out her first scrapbook and looked at her first pages... :) I cracked up... as I'm sure all of us do when we see the first pages we attempted to scrapbook. When I first started to digital scrapbook, there weren't many out there that did it. In fact when I had my first few 8x10 pages printed from Walmart the people that worked there asked me what in the world I was printing because it wasn't a "standard" photograph. I am so glad that digital scrapbooking has come as far as it has. Walmart and Costco now print scrapbook page sizes and practically see more digital created stuff go through there than regular photos. :)
It makes me wonder now that Brooklyn is turning six, if I should attempt to redo her first book? I have so many cute pictures of her and I would love her pages to look more realistic. (You would laugh at her first book before supplies became "realistic" looking and not clip-art-ish. :) I know it would require a lot of work, but she is totally worth it! :) Any thoughts?
Brooklyn is such a special blessing to my life and to our family. She is sweet and caring and loves her family so much. She is 'all girl'. She loves to play with makeup and cook. She is a little mom to everyone around her, trying to take care of them when they are sick or play with them when they are sad. She has a stubborn personality just like her mom, and is very passionate about the things she cares about... again... just like her mom. :) I love her so much and I'm so glad she's my daughter. Happy Birthday Brooklyn!
